This humorous outdoor writer has been published in such magazines as Pennsylvania Angler and Boater ("I'm Buying Breakfast") and Outdoor Oklahoma Magazine ("Bass Thumb, The Finer Points").

The 2010 Jan/Feb issue of Outdoor Oklahoma magazine features the humorous article on tackle maintenance:"Keeping it Reel."
