Short and sweet:
Fish Bite sent me some scented lures to test. Caught my largest 2025 smallmouth (20") on one of their flukes.
Not yet convinced of the scent effectiveness but the density of the "soft plastic" type lure certainly is unique. Heavy for casting weightless but buoyant. They have earned a spot in my tackle bag for further field testing in 2026.
